The new Clinical Xpert® Charge Capture update includes many new enhancements, including support for the BlackBerry smartphone platform. It also features enhanced lookup features, defined keywords, and customization capabilities for the individual practice or hospital physician group. For administrators and coders, the Web-based charge portal has been redesigned for usability with a new interface, enhanced data downloads, and improved reporting and customization tools.

Charge Capture is a module of Clinical Xpert® Navigator (formerly known as MercuryMD MData). Navigator is the Web and mobile data system that delivers real-time clinical patient data direct to the caregiver—wherever the caregiver is. Charge Capture gives rounding clinicians the ability to record diagnosis and procedure codes on their mobile devices, and upload them to a central portal.
